How do I get my bridal veil wrinkle-free?

Just before the wedding? Here are the final steps for your perfect bridal veil.

Many brides (and bridesmaids;)) are familiar with the problem: The delicate fabric of a veil quickly wrinkles. But no problem: here are some hacks you can use to get your veil wrinkle-free without damaging it.

Hack 1) Let's get steamy with a steam iron

Probably the safest way to keep your bridal veil crease-free. Tip: Depending on the veil model, let the heavier wire comb or the heavier edge hang down

1. Use a steamer and hold it about 10-15cm away from the fabric
2. Gently sweep the veil in circular movements, gently stretching the fabric
3. Simply let the steam gently pass through the tulle – done

Hack 2) Two in one – shower and steam at the same time

If your bathroom allows it (and you're a hot shower person), this is also a safe way to smooth your bridal veil. Tip: Again, let the heavier part of the veil hang down.

1. Hang the veil on a wide coat hanger in your bathroom – don’t forget to close the door
2. Take a hot shower and enjoy the steam around you and the veil
3. After 15-20 minutes the fabric should have visibly smoothed

Hack 3) No steam, no problem – ironing with fingertip sensitivity

If you don't have a steamer handy, an iron will also work. With a bit of finesse and a thin cotton cloth, you'll need to use it. Tip: For bridal veils with embroidery or pearls, we recommend the first two options.

1. Set your iron to the lowest temperature
2. Place a thin cotton cloth between the veil and the iron
3. Iron gently in circular motions – done
